Easy DIY Tortilla Pizzas that the Whole Family Enjoys Cooking!
On November 30, 2020 by Megan FolsomOur family definitely loves super easy recipes that everyone can help with. Several times a month, we decide we’re craving our favorite tortilla pizzas.
Fortunately, they don’t take very long to make and they’re extremely versatile ingredient-wise.
They’re easy enough for young kids to help with too! Plus, it helps them feel more excited about dinner time when they get to help choose their own food.
It quickly became one of our toddler’s favorite meals when we first started eating food at 6 months. He still loves it now, almost a year later, and we always have to remind him not to stuff his mouth too full of pizza!
This recipe is also perfect to share with your college kids, perfect for the beginner cook and very affordable.
Instructions:
- On a skillet, toast both sides of a tortilla.
- Once crispy, carefully move the tortilla onto a baking sheet.
- Pick a sauce and add it onto the tortilla.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Add any toppings you’d like.
- Broil on high in your oven for a few minutes.
- Watch it closely, as it can burn very quickly while broiling. Depending on your oven, you may need to rotate the cookie sheet part way through.
- Cut into slices with a pizza wheel and allow it to cool.
- Pick your dipping sauce and enjoy!
